Pap smear results

My Pap smear this year came up with HPV. This is the first time in four years. Has anybody has this??? I always get cold sores and stuff always have since I was young. and I told my doctor that but I think I was too disoriented at the results to actually understand what she was saying. She said that because I was just sick it could’ve shown on my results where it didn’t before. I’m kinda scared
