I need some answers

Claire

Hey girls. I’m 24. My period has generally been heavy and painful since I started getting periods, but it was still manageable, I thought, maybe I was just really sensitive with a low pain tolerance. For a few years my period kinda balanced out I thought, got heavy and moderate pain for two days then light the rest and I was good. But these last few months, last 6 ish months, maybe last year, on day two every single time, my period is so painful that I feel like I’m either going to pass out or throw up, and I think I need to go to the ER every time. It affects my work where I have to call off. Pain pills barely help. And lately, a week before my period I spot. Almost nothing helps. Sometimes it feels so bad I scream to god about letting me die because it’s so painful. Is this normal for anybody else? I’ve been afraid of my period every time it comes now. Some things:

I’ve tried birth control before, it made me more suicidal and depressed, I didn’t like it.

My gyno said I have normal follicular cysts but that everything looks normal.

And I don’t have health insurance so idek if I should go to a specialist or what to do :( has anyone gone through this?
