Birth control pills

I’ve never been sexually active, and I won’t be anytime soon, but I’ve been thinking about birth control for some time now. I’ve read online that taking them can cause different symptoms to different people, and I’ve always dreaded having kids once I’ve become sexually active, I’m hoping to take them along with using condoms to prevent stds and sti’s. Just wondering what kind of symptoms you ladies have had with birth control pills, and whether they were positive or negative side effects. Thank you!
