Nipple piercings while breast feeding??

So I’m kind of stuck on what to do and need some suggestions. I got my nipples pierced March of this year and then found out I was pregnant in April w/ my first baby. I talked to my piercer lady and she said I could just take them out when lm going to breast feed and then put them back in. None of my friends who have kids have gone through this so I’m not sure if it’s going to be a fuss and it’s just better to take them out now to let them heal before the baby comes or if it’s not that bad? I’ve also been worried of possible infection to myself or the baby? Any tips would be great!!
