Do you think leggings like this are inappropriate?

Ive wanted leggings like these forever! And now that I have a bump and my pants are fitting a bit tight. My husband spoiled me, took me for ice cream then to American Eagle and Old Navy and got me a few pairs to start. The pairs I have look almost just like this but the mesh goes up a little higher on my thighs and is wider so you see a little more. and I LOVE THEM. They are so soft and comfortable and so feminine and I feel so cute which is hard when you are bloated and throwing up constantly.

However, I was video chatting my mom and I showed her the leggings and she made a face and said they weren't appropriate for a mother to wear. And I'm hella confused. I don't think they are "too revealing" at all. What do y'all think
