If you get your period late, does that mean you’ll ovulate later that month?

Question

So my period is very regular, 28 day cycle and usually ovulate right on the 14th day. 
This month I was 2 days late because I was travelling overseas and my body was out of whack so the app has changed my ovulation date to the 17th day. 
Does a later period mean your ovulation date will be later too? Or should it still be around the 14th day like I usually am?

A late period shouldn’t change your ovulation. Now if you ovulate late, your period will be late. 
So the first day of your period is cycle day 1 and if you usually ovulate on cycle day 14, I would say you should ovulate around the same time this month. 
Just don’t go by the calendar date 😂 ie: if you normally ovulate on the 14th, don’t count on it haha

When your period is late. It usually means you ovulated late the previous cycle. It won’t affect this ovulation, unless it’s late again this time. But there’s really no way to tell if you ovulated late til after you done ovulated and your period is late. Unless you take ovulation tests.

A late period can mean a late ovulation. But glow is just a guess and without other tests such as OPKs or CM or if you aren't temping and charting then its really up in the air of when you ovulated or should expect AF
