Random cramping 6 months after insertion?

Wanted to ask if anyone had experienced stabbing cramps that randomly come on out of nowhere, without a period or anything? I’ve been having these cramps everyday on and off for about a month, and I’ve had my IUD (copper) for 6 months now... anytime I try and google it, it just comes up with the after insertion cramps.. I can still feel my strings and I’m still getting periods etc, basically everything else is normal.
Anyone have any advice/ideas if what this could be & what I should do?!

I get random cramping with mine after a year but it's not too bad and I'd rather have that than all the stuff I had before I got my IUD so it's worth it to me

I had cramping and pain on and off while having sex the whole three years I had it. I just got it taken out and I’m kinda relieved. I didn’t realize how uncomfortable I really felt with it in until it was gone.

I had the same thing at after 5 months of mine and went to the OB/GYN to make sure it was all okay and she just said give it more time that it’s just my body adjusting to it being in there, i’ve had it 7 months now and don’t get the stabbing cramps anymore!

I just had it taken out after 9m. I crapped with it even then.
