Am I the only one?

Tiffany • 💍 Married. 👶🏻 1/8/20

I get nervous before any ultrasound there won’t be a heartbeat.

I am 16 weeks pregnant and had our first ultrasound at 7w6d and good heartbeat. Went for another ultrasound to check on an ovarian cyst, great heartbeat. Then at 12w1d I woke up gushing blood. I went to the ER, was told we were miscarrying. Luckily, my OB ordered an ultrasound and baby was wiggling around with a great heart rate! I have a subchorionic hematoma (blood clot) and they did another ultrasound to check the bleed and baby and bleed were fine.

I’ve literally had 4 ultrasounds and every time things have been great. We are going to a place tomorrow to find out the gender and I’m terrified we won’t have a heartbeat. Am I crazy?!? Why am I doing this to myself?!

I can’t feel the baby move yet, so maybe once I can, it will better.

Any advice?

I was also so scared of something going wrong.. but I can tell you once you can feel baby move the anxiety becomes less with each passing week. Now I'm 27 weeks

That’s so good to hear! I just feel horrible thinking that way. Anxiety is no joke!

Girl, I feel you. I had the same bleeding at 6 weeks. It’s so scary. And every time they check baby, I say a prayer he’s still okay. He’s due in 41 days and I STILL do that 😆 we’re mommies. We never really stop worrying. It just shows you’re a good mom 💜

I still feel like this at 34 weeks. I don’t think it ever goes away.

No they don’t 😂 but you’re a mummy now so you’ll be worried for the rest of your life now 😬 once you start feeling baby move you will feel a lot better but the panic doesn’t go away. Before every midwife appointment I freak out and make sure I get her to kick before I go in 😂😂

I’m just glad it’s not only me! I seriously feel crazy and my husband doesn’t get it. He’s like you don’t have anything to say the baby isn’t okay. Guys just don’t get it lol
