Okay so I have a third c section scheduled for December 20th and asked my doctor when I seen her yesterday if she would tie my tubes during the c section. She was super against it because I am 24 years old and would feel more comfortable if I was at least 30. I finally talked her into agreement on doing it and then I get a call from her office later that day saying she wants my husband to come to my next appointment to discuss it with him and to get his permission. That doesn't bother me at all because he deserves a say too and thankfully we are both in total agreement with this decision. My thing is am I making a super irrational decision like she thinks? I totally get this is permanent but we are just 2 extremely fertile people and I guess I just dont fully trust birth control and my husband just turned 40 years old so I really just don't think we should be having any more kids. Did anyone else get a tubal in their 20s? What was your experience with it and did you regret it?
