What will you have baby sleep in?

I have a pack n play but im thinking I want to keep it downstairs so now I don’t know what to have baby sleep in 🤔 I could move crib into our room but not sure if babies sleep ok in big cribs?! So maybe I need to buy a bassinet?? Not sure what to do! Maybe I buy another pack n play?

We have too many options: a crib, pack & play, halo bassinet, and a DockATot. I think what we’ll likely end up doing mostly is cosleeping with the DockATot for the first few months and then transitioning her to her own crib. Wild guess though because I’m a ftm and have no idea what to expect.

Not sleep in it so at like 6 weeks old he was sleeping im his crib so i would say no baby wont be too small

We got a pack and play for our room and plan on putting a mattress in it to make the transition to crib later easier. Then I have been trying to pick up a used cheaper pack and play for the basement because we will also spend a lot of time down there. I decided against a bassinet because I’m worried baby will grow out of it before we are ready to move them to the crib. I don’t think a crib would fit great in our room and I didn’t want to have to move it over to baby’s room later because we will already have to move the rocker so no crib either.

We put the pack and play on the main level of our house and will put the crib in the nursery (which is upstairs with our bedroom).  I am leaning towards also getting a bassinet so the baby can sleep in our room for the first six months.  When put together the crib is too big to fit through our doorways so it will have to stay in the nursery.

Ultimately we decided on a crib to avoid the transition from a bassinet down the line. We chose a convertible so it can be used beyond the infant/toddler years and it was only about $100 more than a pack and play would be. We do have a backup cosleeper we found on sale in case the crib is a bust and figured we would use that while traveling or camping.
