Should i go to the ER?

Im 7 weeks today and this morning woke up with light bleeding and have been cramping all day. I know they say bleeding/cramping is normal in 1st trimester but iv been pregnant 4 times before and only time i have ever had bleeding is around implantation, so this isn't really a normal occurance for me. Would you go to the er? Or would you just stay home and wait it out?

Can you see if your OB can fit you in soon to check on everything? If you can get an appointment in the next few days, then I’d save the ER for bad cramping and heavy bleeding or other pain that is concerning. I’ve seen some posts on this app that the ER techs don’t always super know what they’re doing. That said, if you’re feeling off and you think the ER will give you peace of mind, do what you gotta do.

I started bleeding lightly on a Friday and my ob appt was the following Monday so I didn’t go to the ER. I told my dr I didn’t go to the ER because I heard so many stories from women who said they were told “it’s either a miscarriage or it isn’t, and there’s nothing we can do about it” my dr said I was right, that’s exactly what ER will tell me 🙄 anyway, it ended up being a miscarriage. I’m hoping and praying yours has a different outcome. Try not to stress (easier said than done) Do you know the number for your drs nurse?
