this might not be the right group, and it’s long, sorry.

So let’s start with some background. my ex boyfriend and i dated from october to march, and we still hangout and have a friends with benefits kinda thing since the break up. everything’s been going great, with a few ups and downs, even for being ex’s.

So he has family and friends in the next state over from us. he’s gone on trips there before and never comes back when he tells me he will, even when we were together, for example, his friend who was supposed to drive him home didn’t have a car to drive. annoying but i got over it.

Fast forward to a few days ago. we both decided that we needed a short break, so we canceled our plans and he had a guys night and i had a girls night. everything worked out.

He just told me a few hours ago he was leaving tomorrow to go visit. i asked him how long he was staying, and etc. he said the longest would be a week. but i always have suspicion from previous experience. also, keep in mind that a month or so ago he told me he was thinking about moving back, and nothing about it was brought up sense.

As he just graduated and i’m still finishing up school, i can’t go with him, and we’re not in a relationship anyways. it wouldn’t make sense for me to go with.

I asked him if i could see him before he leaves, just in case he changes his mind and decides he wants to stay for longer, or wants to move there and not come back for a few months.

He said he didn’t know if he would be able to see me before he left. it definitely made me upset hearing that because i haven’t seen him in a week or so, and wanted to see him before he left for a week or two or who knows how long.

I guess i’m asking if i have a right to be upset? (and just kinda ranting lol) what should i do? i really love this guy and want us to workout. just want to hear your thoughts on this.
