Is it okay to dye your hair while TTC? (Semi-permanent)

I need to re-dye my hair again but I’ve always been told it’s not healthy to dye your hair while pregnant or TTC because of the harsh chemicals & whatnot. Is that true? Bc if so, I’m not sure what to do. My hair was originally green before we started TTC and now it’s fading hardcore.

It's fine, try to find a dye that's ammonia free and more organic. Bleach is what you wanna avoid

As a hair stylist it is fine. You want to watch your hair and be cautious depending on what you’re doing, this is because of the hormones your body is producing. For example, I had bright fun colors in my hair before pregnancy, they lasted for a good while; while pregnant color wouldn’t even hold it my hair, so I stopped doing them. Pregnancy really changes your hair.
