Pain medication?

I'm 8 weeks pregnant and i was told i can't take certain pain medication but yesterday I randomly got this really bad headache and it won't go away even after sleeping and eating Idk what to do what pain medication can I take? Sorry FTM here yall

Tylenol / acetaminophen is safe during pregnancy for pain. You’ll want to stay away from Advil/ibuprofen and aleve/naproxen, not recommended in pregnancy.

I had this same issue and the only thing that worked for me was getting a ton of extra sleep. But I did call my OB as a last ditch effort because I was so frustrated and she told me these tips- maybe you could try some. 
Tylenol and a cup of coffee or a caffeinated pop at the same time
Water with electrolytes (Propel or Gatorade) since it’s been so hot out 
Sticking your feet in a sink full of very warm water (as warm as you can stand it) to help pull the extra blood from your head and lighten the pounding sensation you might be feeling when you’re getting the headaches
Excedrin also makes a tension headache formula that is aspirin free- so it’s just L Tylenol with caffeine (if you’re not a coffee person this might be better), this is safe to take as well
And last but not least- my OB told me if all else fails and I just cannot find something that works, I can take ONE Excedrin migraine (unless you’re in your third trimester) to see if it will help. But some OBs don’t agree with this, so I would check with yours before you try!
