C-section: What to expect?

I'll have a c-section due to my baby being breech. I'm now wondering what to expect afterwards. What are somethings I won't be able to do/need help to do? Will I be able to pick things up from the floor? Will I be able to take things out of the top cabinets? Etc. I never had any surgery before so I have no idea how much it will hurt afterwards or how limited I will be. Concrete examples are appreciated!

Have clothing and underwear that won’t push on your incision. I wore the hospital mesh undies for a month because everything else was so uncomfortable. You’ll want high rise everything.

Get up as soon as they will let you. The faster you are up the faster healing goes and the faster you can get home. Take it easy though. No climbing stairs, if you have to, crawl up them. Compression undies to keep everything held in place until healing is done. Brace yourself when coughing, sneezing, laughing, and pooping.

Walk as soon as you can afterwards! Also it’s going to hurt if you bend to pick things up or reach to get thing the first few days/weeks. Take it very easy.

Had a csection for breech.  Was up and about the next day.  Moved a couch (shouldn’t have) after a week, but it was fine.
