Had my appt today and for the first time in my pregnancy I have high blood pressure.

They took it twice and it did come down but not to what they wanted it to. I have to go back in tomorrow to get it rechecked and if it is still high then I will mostly likely be induced, which I reallllly wanted to avoid.

As of today, I am less than 1 cm dilated, so it would be a looooong induction. And I would be worried about additional interventions.

Has anyone been induced and not used an epidural? I really want a natural birth, but this has come out of left field.
