Does your 7 month old still use their swing?

Question

Just wondering who all still uses the baby swing. My swing has a 25 pound weight limit and my 7 month old is 19 pounds. Everything I read says she shouldn’t be using it anymore, but wondering why that is if she’s still got a ways to go before she hits the weight limit. Wondering what everyone else is doing. Thanks!

I think it becomes a safety hazard as they get more mobile and are able to wiggle their way out of the harness and fall.

We use it for naptimes. He enjoys just sitting in it when he is tired of play.

I still use it nightly when she refuses to go back to sleep 🤷‍♀️ she’s 17 lbs. it’s the only way I can get more than 2 hours of sleep at night. I figure she will eventually not need it.

We use it once in awhile but not too often(ours have a 25pound limit) he’s only 17pounds

My daughter didn’t even use hers *sigh* but my son used his till like 9 months.

My daughter uses her alot less now but she does still use it if I'm sitting in the same room
