Any advice

I was just 12 days late and AF showed up this afternoon. We’ve been TTC for months now and I had really high hopes this month as my cycle has always been 28 days and never late. I have tried ovulation sticks but never stick with it so I don’t actually know when I’m ovulating. This month I really want to be diligent with it. Any advice on when to test/ how many times a day? Thanks!
