After trying for at least two years to have a second baby, we decided to seek help from a fertility specialist. This month is our first round of treatment. On cycle day 3 I went in for a baseline ultrasound and started on femara 5mg for 5 days and was ordered the HCG trigger shot to bring with me to my next appt. I was scheduled to go back today on day 11 for a mid cycle scan and to get the shot. When she scanned my ovaries, I had 3 follicles but only in my right ovary and they only measured 12mm and the other two were 9mm. No shot today, told to return for another scan on Monday. I just have so many worries and questions running through my head. If anyone who has been through this before has any advice or words of wisdom, anything would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
