Story to come later, but my son was born at 38+5 on 8/7/19 at 4:51pm via scheduled induction due to gestational hypertension. He was already a whopping 8lb 2.5oz and 20in long! Just got off of phototherapy for jaundice and we’ll be going home today! Breastfeeding has been really hard with the formula bottles he needed to have to supplement for the jaundice and the pacifier to keep him calm during the phototherapy. I’m trying to keep calm and persevere past what I think is nipple confusion starting to happen. I’m hoping that persistence and consistency will keep him at the breast. I’ve loved breastfeeding so far, and don’t want to give it up!
