Why were you scheduled to be induced?

Currently 37 + 3 and just curious about what reasons your doctor scheduled an induction and when they decided to?

I asked for one because my cervix was already 3 cm dialted got it at 39 weeks 1 day
Started everything going but couldnt make it past 7 cm babys heart dropped fast and got rushed to an emergency c section

Amniotic fluid was too low at 36.6 days. Waited a day to try to hydrate and see if it made a difference but it didn't so they scheduled me at 37.1

High bp/ I wanted it...i told her yes to an elective induction at 39 weeks early in pregnancy but I started having high blood pressure anyways.

I had high bp through or my pregnancy which we managed with baby aspirin but thelast week or so my bp was through the roof so my dr started me on bp meds and they weren't working so he sent me straight to the hospitalto be induced after my appointment Wednesday

I’ll be induced on my due date Aug 15th I kinda more brought it up to him he was willing to let me go to 41 weeks before induction. I’m still so hesitant about it and don’t even know if I’m fully in for it, but I’ll be 40 weeks and I just don’t think my body is going to have this baby on it own. I show absolutely no signs of having this baby and I have tried seriously everything to get my body ready. I really felt selfish and still feel kinda selfish about choosing to be induced before medically necessary. it wasn’t my plan at first

I was diagnosed at 37+2 with cholestasis. Due to increased risk of stillbirth after 37 weeks with cholestasis, I was induced at 37+6. I did not want to be induced and was heartbroken over it. I went into labor in my own with my first and it was wonderful. But my induction went as well as it could have. I avoided pitocin and an epidural, and we are both healthy and safe. I still feel guilty that he was so early and didn’t get to come when he was ready though.
