Af back so soon?

Okay all, I stopped my BC in June. Without it I usually have 2 periods a year, if im lucky. That being said, my june period was on time. My July period arrived at 31 days from the 1st sat of my last period. That was from July 27- July 31. I started bleeding again yesterday.  Its mostly brown and the flow isn't as much as a normal one. But I am cramping like the dickens. Anyone else experience this? Or have any idea of what could be going on?

It can take your body 3-6 months to regulate after stopping BC. Its used to the hormones being there from the BC, so without it, its trying to find a new normal for you. You can have all kinds of wacky cycles until it figures out what's going on.

I had the same thing happen last month. I had 3 days of light flow on days 13-15 of my cycle. It was mostly dark red and then dark brown toward the end. I just started my period today 20 days after the sporting and 6 days later than I would normally start. I don’t know if I should count the 3 days of light bleeding as a period or not. I’m worried because abnormal bleeding between cycles could be a symptom of something serious.
