Gynecologist appointment

I am 29 years old and husband 31 . We have been ttc’ing for 6 months now and i have been checking my ovulation from last 3 months.

Now i have booked an appointment with a gynecologist next week , please guide me in what should i expect there , what will she do , will she run some tests on me and i need to ask for tests. I am afraid i could have pcos .

And booking an appointment with a gynecologist is fine or should i go the RE (reproductive endocrinologist).
