Hip pain
Everyone talks about labor and the different horror stories and experiences. Everyone talks about how heavy and tired you feel. Everyone talks about cravings, mood swings, and being all around uncomfortable.
Some people even warn you about the poop that could happen durring labor.
Nobody told me about this hip pain.
I expected my hip in the back to hurt and ache because of them getting wider in preparation for birth. I never expected the front to make me burst into tears just from trying to roll over in bed. I never expected not to be able to walk because there are days where the front of my hip hurts that bad. I'm currently 35 weeks and 4 days, I've still got a month to go before my little man is here, and it started at 32 weeks. Some days are better than others, but I have this constant pain now. I've talked to my doctor and it's normal, so I'm not super stressing. It just hurts and I wanted to rant. I understand it's just the relaxin hormone getting my pelvis loose for labor and delivery, but I didn't expect this. I was caught waaaayyyyy off guard. When it pops it feels like it's breaking. I don't even have Braxton Hicks that I notice. There are times when I can't even lift my leg to put the pillow between them because it causes such pain.
The only partial relief I've found is the shower and bath route. Does anyone else have any suggestions?? I'm open to anything at this point. I feel like my hip is going to break. I need help and I can't find anything...
