12dpo to early?

Is 12dpo to early to test? I should be starting my period in 4 days, I did test today but obi it came out neg.. retest in a few or wait for missed period??

Answer

It is still considered early. Anything before 14 dpo would be early. 
I always have the best intentions but I end up testing around 12dpo. It is best to wait until your period is a day late. 
It’s hard to wait when you see a lot of women post their early bfp.
