Not sure what to think

This is my third pregnancy. First one I was on bed rest from 20 weeks on. Had a healthy baby who's almost twelve. Last July at 5w8d I had a miscarriage, hcg levels didn't double. This time I'm 4w3d and feel so many symptoms like the first time. This time I have to see a new doctor. They booked me for my first appointment in September at 8w2d but they didn't send me for blood work. Should I call and ask for it? I'm not sure what to do or how to feel... I'm happy and nervous and haven't told anyone.
