Is a boy name ok for a girl?

My uncle died earlier this year. We try to give our kids middle names from people in our life as a sign of love and respect. I'm having a little girl but was thinking of her middle name being Brian. Is that to weird?

People are breaking those stereotypes daily. If that's what you want to do, by all means. But if it were me I'd be make it the more feminine "Brianna"

I'm a girl, and my name is Ryann. Its pronounced Ryan, like the guys name. My mom added the extra N, so that if I later in life decided I didnt like the guy pronunciation I could say Ry(Ann). Personally, I like the uniqueness of my name. Do whatever you want to do! Nothing wrong with naming your daughter Brian.

I’m kind of confused by the poll since the headline question is different then the question at the end of the post. Lol but yea, I think it’s fine to give girls more traditionally masculine names. If I had had a girl, I was going to name her Ray after a really important man in my life. 🤷🏼‍♀️ if you like it then go with it.

I was doing surrogacy for a gay couple when suddenly the guy whose baby I was gonna carry passed, well me and my husband are currently pregnant and we decided whether boy or girl the middle name would be Ryan. Sterotypes are for losers, you do what will make you and your SO happy. A middle name doesnt come into conversation much either. If the child grows older they can just say their middle name is B. Its all good. :)
