Help ?!

I have to go for my glucose test on November 3rd, all the told me is that I can't eat after 12am. Can someone please tell me there experience with there glucose test'!?

I did mine at 12w. Did not have to fast only the hour between blood draw. Tasted nasty, but drank some water after I finished and it was fine. Much worse experiences in life, its not a huge deal IMO.

I didn't have to fast until 1.5 hours before drinking it, but it wasn't bad at all! Tasted like a meted otter pop, I didn't feel sick to my stomach or have a headache after, just felt a tiny bit sluggish how you would after a sugar rush. Don't worry! 😀

It's not bad I would take juice or something to eat for after your done u might get alittle dizzy

Make sure to ask for the drink niceand cold ..goes down easier !

I went last Friday just for a check up at 1:30 and the doctor asked me what I had for lunch. I told her fruit loops and I had French toast for breakfast and she said breakfast didn't matter because it was so long ago (8) and she asked me if I wanted to do the glucose test right then and there. I said yes and chose the fruit punch flavor. It was cold also. But my blood work came back fine. Just found out I'm anemic though.

Drink the drink they give you within 2 min and then an hour later you get your blood drawn. So simple & easy.

I ate an egg& cheese sandwich an hour before I drank the glucose to prevent myself from
Getting sick. Highly recommended to eat something an hour before

Mine just said don't eat or drink anything between the time you have the drink and they take your blood. My nurse gave me the orange flavor and I didn't think it was that bad. Tasted kinda like that kids orange Tylenol.

I failed the one hour. Taking three hour in two weeks. I don't know what it is.

It's not bad at all. Follow the rules and do not eat. Just drink the stuff and bring a book or someone with you to keep you occupied for the hour.
