Over the counter medicine for PCOS?

Okay ladies, I was recently been diagnosed with PCOS. I have been trying to get pregnant for about two years. Had a miscarriage back in November. I'm trying to lose weight to try and get pregnant. But I know I need medicine to help concieve. What is the best medicine I can buy in stores because I don't have insurance at the moment due to job switching. Please help a sister out.

Try following the Mediterranean diet if you can. Going dairy and gluten free also helps with most hormonal disorders. I had so many irregular labs and 15-20 cysts on each ovary, followed the diet for 6 months, and then had all normal labs and no cysts. I have endo as well and it took me 4 months to conceive after getting myself healthy. Good luck!

I suffer from PCOS and was trying to get pregnant for 3yrs and we did plenty of infertility medications. First of all I started to take prenatal vitamins, vitamin D, probiotics, went all organic, and did the keto diet. Did all that and 7mo later I was pregnant. I soooo recommend this book. It made me understand PCOS and how to treat it!!!

I am not very trusting of most medications marketed towards weight loss. However Vitamin D and Vitamin B Complex help me manage the symptoms of PMDD, and I think they are good for PCOS as well. When you feel better, it is easier to take care of yourself.
Daily exercise and a focus on whole, non processed foods can go a long way towards helping you manage symptoms and lose weight. While it is true that PCOS does make it more difficult to lose weight, it is absolutely something that you can achieve through diligence with good food and exercise. It just may take a little longer than it would otherwise.
