When to tell child you're pregnant ?

I asked my six year old daughter if she wanted a sibling and she said yes and if wanted a sister or a brother and she requested both lol.....today she asked me if I was having a baby because I'm super bloated lol..... When and how did you tell your kid that they are going to have a sibling?

I have 4 yr old twins and for months i didnt tell them i was having a baby. When we would play i would tell them "dont jump on mommies tummy" they would ask why my tummy was gettin big i would just say i ate a lot of food. Then one day while they were eatin a snack and one came to jump on me and i told her dont jump. The other one very casually looks over and says "mommy is having a baby". Lol i just laughed and was in shock. Then i just said yep mommy is having a baby.

I have a 6 and 4 year old my 6 year can not wait to meet his little brother my little girl is happy it's a boy because she wants to be the only girl lol I just told them that we are going to have a new baby and that he and she is going to be a big brother:sister they can't wait now every time I go for a check up they ask me if there little brother can come out now lol good luck
