I’m so frustrated at this point I’m not even sure what to do. I got my helix pierced spur of the moment. It hurt like a bitch and the healing process has been kicking my ass. The first three weeks it was swollen and painful to everything. I ended up sleeping on it on the 5th day and thought it was infected. Got that cleared up and the swelling and pain went down. Now 7 weeks later it has swelled again and developed bumps on both the inside and outside and hurts with everything. I know the bumps are from irritation because i can’t stop sleeping on it to save my life. I’ve moved my bed against the wall and used all my extra pillows and throw blankets to put against the wall to keep me from turning over, but apparently it doesn’t work. As of right now I’m using diluted tea tree oil on my piercing to get the bumps down because this shit hurts, I’m just praying it doesn’t make the issue worse. I have no idea what I’m doing or even how to use it correctly I guess. I also have a nose piercing that I’m now afraid will develop bumps. I have to sleep with a bandaid over that because the second night I ripped that out in my sleep.😕🙄
