So I am definitely far down the asexual spectrum, and I honestly find that so much harder to talk about than being romantically attracted to both men and women.

Nobody believes the orientation exists. It’s always “Oh but when you find the right person” or “have you had your hormones checked?” Or “what do you mean you can’t fall in love??” Or, you’re just put down as a prude. I simply don’t talk about it to anyone aside from one friend who is also LGBT and understands, though she isn’t ace herself.

Dating is a whole other minefield as aces seem to be largely expected to either bite the bullet, or let their partner sleep with others. I don’t want to have to do either.

Are there any other aces here? What have your experiences been like?
