Mucinex

I know I don't belong in this group but I was just wondering if anyone has tried Mucinex while TTC? We had been trying for about 6 months when I had my yearly appointment with my doctor. I asked her about it and she said it could help. Because it is meant to thin mucus, it also thins cervical mucus making it easier for the sperm to swim. I took it everyday after I got off my next period as directed on the box. I only took it through my fertile window, not until I missed my period.We BD'd every other day to give his sperm time to build up. It worked the first month I tried it! We are now expecting a baby boy in December. I just wanted to share my story and offer something new to try possibly. I know how disappointing and heartbreaking getting your period is when all you want is to see those 2 lines on a pregnancy test. I wish extra special baby dust on all of you reading this!
