No judgement please. I have a termination scheduled for this friday. that has been and will be weighing on my heart a lot. i let my partner know it was at 12:30 and he asked if i could push the appointment back later so he can go on a photo shoot that day (he’s not a model. his friend is a photographer and they made plans to do a shoot for fun / to get cool pics to post). i feel a bit hurt that he even cared about modelling for a shoot on the day i’m having an abortion (to end a pregnancy he is equally involved in). does anyone else think that was an inappropriate comment?

To me that is an inappropriate comment. Some places only do terminations on certain days of the week. He can do a silly little photo shoot with his bro any other day of the week.

I think it's inappropriate as he should be there for you. He might not be able to be in the actually hospital room but he should be there in the waiting room.
The photoshoot isn't the end of the world and he should push THAT back not you having to push your appointment back

I completely understand where you’re coming from and yes he should be there for you but maybe he doesn’t know how to be or he can’t comprehend it and understand his own feelings and this is his way of dealing with it and I don’t judge you for it because I’ve done it myself it’s your body your choice
