When is a good time for the first ultrasound?

7 weeks at the earliest. 8-10 weeks would be better.

At least 8 weeks if you want to see a baby! This was mine at 6w3d. I had it because I was worried about spotting, but I wish I would have waited.

Most doctors won’t do it until the first appointment at 8-12 weeks. Then the next is anatomy and usually that’s it. 
Before 8 weeks, barley anything could show.

7 weeks it seems they still look like a blob, sometimes at eight week but mine looked like a gummy bear. Seems week 10 and on it starts taking that baby shape. I get one on Monday at 13 weeks again, I cannot wait!!!!

Alot of women that get them to ealy then go have to wait longer and stress because you cant really see much at that point. It sucks but I think it's better waiting till later on when everything is noticeable. Heres mine at exactly 10 weeks and was my first one

Honestly I would wait until 8 weeks, ultrasounds before then you can’t really see anything at all. They tell you you might, but you won’t, lol. You’ll see a little stick at 6 weeks. But you’re at 5 weeks and most of the time you either don’t see anything or see the tiniest black dot.
