So 😬 I’m 20wks today (yay!) and had my anatomy scan done on Monday at 19weeks 4 days and was told I would come back at 28, 32, AND 36 weeks for more. I tried to google (I know I know bad idea) how many ultrasounds are typical and most results say “two unless there’s a problem”.

But the thing is...they told me everything looked fine. She’s measuring well, 11 ounces, moving around just fine, pretty much perfect. So now I’m confused and my hormones have me freaking out wondering if there’s something they aren’t telling me? 🤦🏼‍♀️

I’ve worked in the OBGYN field before and only knew of high risk women getting multiple scans and extra care, and I’ve also worked with the doctor I’m seeing now so I would hope he would be open and honest with me if it was something they don’t do normally.

So I wanna know! How many detailed ultrasounds did you have with your doctor? Does that sound pretty standard or do I need to bring this up to mine at my next prenatal? Help a hormonal freaked out mama out please! 😅❤️
