Preschool cost ?

The only preschools in my area are government funded , 30 kids or more in a class. Ive looked around but not pleased with what i saw. My church i attend has a Christian academy. It is a private school from K-8. Tuition with afterschool care since i work is $7500 a year  Its an excellent school for my toddler and i know she will be well taken care of. Do you think thats too much money. My family is giving me mixed opinions.  I know i can make it happen.  I just have alot on my plate being pregnant and looking for a new house. Please someone help me rationalize my decision.

For the whole year? If so, that's excellent. And you might be able to get a scholarship since it's a private school. The one I wanted to send my daughter to was about 10k a year.

I think the private school here is about 1,500 for the year.  We briefly looked into it.  My daughter is going to preschool this year, but it’s a public school I payed 500 for the year.  So to me that seems crazy expensive, but I guess it all depends on your area, and I’m sure a few other things factor into that price.  Hopefully it would be an amazing school, if you can afford it go for it.

I have no idea what private schools should cost over there but this is actually one of the cheapest costs that someone has mentioned on here lately. 
Either way, as long as you can afford it and you think it’s the best decision for your child then go for it. Your child your choice.

 My youngest goes to part day free vpk for 3hrs, just for wrap around care it would be $7200. The total for fulltime would be $9200

That sounds like the same price as you'd pay for daycare.  So yea,  that sounds normal.
