Vaginal itching!

Vaginal opening is red and irritated. I did some grooming down there and at first thought it was because I had got soap down there but, the itching has increased and it hurts so bad. Vagisil wipes and cortisone cream are working for a little bit and then it's itching all over again. I had intercourse with a guy last week, with protection but, oral with no protection. I'm freaking out at this point bc I don't know if its something I did or something from the sex 😭. When I checked my opening it was bright red and swollen. Any ideas on what it could be?
