Well this is not TTC related but here goes. I use straight talk prepaid wireless. I have a whole week left on my plan. This morning, my phone had been deactivated. I called customer service and they promptly told me that my service had been temporarily suspended because I am not on an international plan and I had tried to call Jamaica!!! I told them I am the only person that uses my phone and have no reason to call Jamaica or any international number. The rep told me they would reactivate my service while they continued their investigation. While on the phone, I informed him that I have been receiving calls from strange numbers. They aren't phone numbers..just 1 or 2 digit numbers. I never answer them or try to call it back to see who it is. He proceeds to tell me that these numbers are more than likely what prompted my suspension...someone has either hacked or tried to hack my phone!!! And instead of logging as a received call from that place....it was logging that I attempted an international call!!! He advised I needed to change my number and monitor to see if the calls continue and report weekly to them how many calls from those numbers I get. So.....ladies....if you receive calls from strange numbers that are not phone numbers...report it to your service provider and have your number changed!!!
