Honest opinion

So i saw messages between my SO and a friend at work. The friend asked" hey have you ever tried to get with this girl (insert name) at work" my SO responded with "no we are just cool and she got upset with me when she found out i had a girl" .. wtf. what am i supposed to think about this?
