Sex during a relationship

So I’ve been dating this guy for over a year and we just recently started getting into having sex. He’s used a condom in the past and he did 2 weeks before my period came. Now my period is 4 days late and I’m stressing. I’ve told him before that it stresses me out too much after we have sex afterwards but I’m always the one asking for sex. It’s always me and never him so don’t blame him for it. How should I talk to him that I don’t want to do that anymore due to that and how do I keep myself in line?
