Is my gyni playing with my head right now??!!

At ny 28 week scan.. I took my toddler with and he said my toddler is so cute.. Imagine what the sister/daughter (cant remember which word he used) will look like.. So I didnt think anything of it.. Btw he was my gyny for my first as well.. And we kept it a surprise.. So today at my 38 week app.. I took my toddler with me again.. And after the scan.. He says to my toddler.. are u happy.. U finished see your sister!! My hubby and I are like wth.. Did he just say we having a girl?!!!🙈🙈🙈😅😅 Thats my baby scan at 38 weeks..
