I'm from the UK and I'm 7 hours into my induction. Pessary is in, my partner is losing the will to live and I'm bored. Would love to know how the induction process is different in other parts of the world and even in the UK. It's still early but so far....

Came in at 2pm, was on a monitor for an hour. I'm only 38 weeks so they are in no rush but would like her out for her own safety and mine.

Was given my first ever exam (in my entire pregnancy) at 3.30pm. Cervix was long and closed so they put the pessary straight in.

I can't sleep because we are in a shared room with 3 women who are in labour that were induced yesterday, it's hot and myself and my partner are bored.
