Home made pregnancy test??

So I was suppose to have my period, and I've been cramping really bad for the past couple weeks and it may be my period but I was suppose to start it and I haven't. I read early pregnancy can make you have cramps and I haven't been really feeling too good either.. so I read online some home made pregnancy test you can do to see if you're pregnant or not. I was gonna see if anyone has maybe tried one and if it's worked or not. I was gonna try one before I went to the store and got one? I just wanted to try.
