Advice please!!!!

Ok so I found out today that I have gestational diabetes for sure. So I wanted to know from anyone that is going through or has gone through this what happens??? Like besides the diet and meter checks, like will I have to be induced early? What are the risks to baby?? This is my third child and I have never been through this I just want to kind of know what to expect because I’m completely lost and honestly I’m scared. Any advice or stories would be greatly appreciated.
