my boyfriend and i have been dating for a year and 3 months now and our relationship is starting to get rocky. ever since summer started, we started drifting apart because of different vacation schedules and stuff. we’ve hung out about 3 times this whole summer and it’s just different than before. i feel like he doesn’t care as much about me anymore and never does anything special for me or our relationship. i try to talk to him about it but he brushes it off, doesn’t take me seriously and changes the subject. should i call it a quits and start fresh in college? the thing that has really ticked me off is that i’ve just come home from vacation yesterday after a week and he hasn’t even tried to make plans yet but is hanging out with his friends who he’s seen all summer a lot. i just feel like i’m the only person putting effort into the relationship.
