Worried😔

I had unprotected sex over a month ago with someone I know. I have been sti tested but I am privately paying for a blood test for herpes as I have no sores or blisters. I have no signs or symptoms but I am worried. I asked the person and he said no he doesn’t have herpes and that he would tell me if he did but what if he doesn’t know as I’ve read some people don’t know they have herpes. Am I overthinking or should I be worried? I’m so scared for my test on Monday. 🤦🏼‍♀️
