Does it sound weird to stop having kids cause in 5 years your oldest might have a baby

My Aunt is 37 and has talked about wanting to have another baby. Her oldest daughter is 15 going to be 16 this year. My aunt decided to stop trying to have another baby cause In 5 years her daughter might have a baby and she’ll be a grandma. To me it’s a bit weird but to each their own

However I do feel weirded out when parents TRY TO have a baby at THESAME time as their doughters because they can share their pregnancy.

I think it depends.. On the age.. On the amount of kids. On their age when they had their first kid.. Each situation is different but if you ask is 37 too old to have a second child.. Well no..
If you ask is being 15 or 16 too old for a new sibling.. Well no.. I don't think so 🤔

It's a bit weird but 37 isn't old and still within perfectly fine age to have a baby so if that's what she wants let her live her best life

I'm 22 with two 3 year old sisters. I think the reasoning is weird and unnecessary.. but to each their own

I think it's a little weird to stop trying for kids just because your oldest is at an age where she might have kids soon. 
My mum (40) can't have kids now due to having issues in her last pregnancy (6 years ago) so needing a hysterectomy but just before I told her I was pregnant she said that she'd love to be able to have another baby, had she been able to and got pregnant I wouldn't care that my baby would be older than my sibling... Don't think it really matters. A baby is a baby, it shouldn't matter about anyone else if you want one

Why is she so sure of what would happen in 5 years lol. The daughter would just be 20/21. That’s a bit of a ridiculous reason

My friends sister is 2 years younger than her daughter. I don’t think it’s wierd, but each to their own I guess.
