Polyamorous
I told my boyfriend at the beginning of our relationship in January that I was polyamorous, but was just fine being with only him.
He made some rules that I agreed to, (Has to be a female who will date us both) which I think is understandable, as hes never done anything like that before or even had that option.
we brought it up a few times here and there, and I've made it known that I love my best friend. (shes been there for me since 7th grade)
A few days ago my boyfriend told me that she was the only person he has ever considered at all for our relationship if we do, and I told him that she was the only person I trusted enough anyways.
Last night he told me he had a few questions for me, and proceeded to ask if I liked my best friend, I told him honestly that I did, and Id love the chance to be with her if her and her boyfriend didnt work out, (me and her have also talked about it, as she is poly as well)but I also told him that I liked him, so I was okay if it was just us.
He was quiet for a moment before going "well, if you can openly say it, I guess I can. I'm okay if it's just us as well, but I do like her." Hes admitted that hes not sure if it's a crush or not, but hes been ignoring the feelings for a while.
She didnt like him at first, being my over protective best friend (she usually tells me if someone is toxic)but as time went on and we figured things out, I got them to hang out more the past month or two, and shes admitted that hes a good guy.
I plan to tell my friend tomorrow what was said, and that if her and her boyfriend dont work out, wed be fine taking her on dates and seeing how things go, but that it's all her choice
