Anyone else had progesterone tablets?

We're ttc I have pcos and no periods this year. My doctor wants me to go on progesterone tablets for two weeks then stop. I was wondering what this would actually do to my body? Thank you

It’s likely to induce a period or technically a “withdrawal bleed.” The progesterone helps your uterine lining develop. Once you stop taking it, you should shed your lining aka have a period within 2 weeks from your last pill.
